MSC.Software will both lead the technology area "Integration of Analysis Services" and act as a system integrator in the application area automotive. Due to its 40 year history of architecting and developing analysis software, and its recognized know-how of IT technologies MSC.Software is well positioned for successfully conducting these tasks.
MSC.Software is highly committed to lead the technology area "Integration of Analysis Services" and to coordinate the efforts of all application areas regarding this topic. In this role, MSC.Software will contribute its significant know-how of analysis services and processes and assist with the definition of suitable standards, procedures, and reference implementations.
In the application area automotive, MSC.Software will act as integrator. The technologies designed and developed within the automotive cluster, as well as in the respective grid technology research activities, will be demonstrated in an appropriate SIMDAT AutoMotive Demonstrator (SAMD) system. An integral part of SAMD will be MSC.SimManager with appropriate prototype extensions. After the successful conclusion of the SIMDAT project, MSC.Software wants to exploit the results of the project in a corresponding production quality commercial version of MSC.SimManager which is fully grid enabled.
In addition, MSC.Software will support Audi in its task of coordinating the application area automotive.
